Bio

Stanley is an associate in the Clarksburg office of McNeer, Highland, McMunn and Varner, LC. He is admitted to practice in West Virginia, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, and U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia. His areas of practice include insurance litigation, including bad faith and liability claims, personal injury, wrongful death, construction law, and most other areas of civil litigation.

He began his legal career with McNeer, Highland, McMunn and Varner, LC, in August of 2015, after working for the firm as a summer clerk in 2013 and 2014. Prior to beginning his legal career, Stanley worked in the construction industry as a projects manager.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Fairmont State University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from West Virginia University College of Law. In his third year at the West Virginia University College of Law, Stanley worked as a student attorney in the General Litigation Clinic of the school’s Clinical Law Program. While working as a student attorney, he assisted clients with legal needs ranging from domestic relations to Social Security appeals.

Stanley is a lifelong resident of Harrison County, West Virginia. He currently resides in Clarksburg with his wife, Sarah, and their three children, Christian, Luke, and Isaiah. He enjoys spending time with his family, attending church, and attending West Virginia University sporting events. He is also active in the community volunteering as a youth football coach.
